About Us
The Boys' Brigade was founded in Glasgow, Scotland, in 1883 by Sir William Alexander Smith. It is the oldest uniformed youth organization in the world, established to instill discipline, Christian values, and leadership in young boys. The movement quickly spread across the globe, impacting millions of lives and shaping future leaders through its unique blend of faith, fun, and service.
The Boys' Brigade in Kogi State began as a vision to unite and empower young men in the region, fostering a spirit of service, leadership, and Christian character. Over the years, the Kogi State Council has grown to become a beacon of hope and transformation, nurturing boys into responsible citizens and leaders who contribute positively to their communities and the nation at large.
